The Ultimate Protection Academy now teaches at seven locations spread across the Metro Detroit area. Offering a wide variety of training programs to accommodate your needs, from Handgun Orientation for a beginner shooter, Michigan Certified CPL to Advanced Lessons for the most experienced shooter or even Private Lessons to hone your personal skill level. Be careful of other ccw instructors who are quoting low tuition fees, then adding on range fees later. Ultimate Protection Academy have never charged range fees for instructional services, we don't charge range fees now and we don't plan on charging range fees in the future for instructional services because Ultimate Protection Academy financed, designed and built the new indoor shooting range located at 46853 Gratiot. The range equipment belongs to us.
Michigan Concealed Pistol License Classes

- Law Enforcement Trainers, Members of Ileeta, IALEFI, NAFTO, MINAFTO, Michigan Sheriff's Association, NRA,
- We have trained literally thousands of successful CPL (Concealed Pistol License) applicants (law enforcement, military, civilians.corrections officers, private investigators, attorneys, doctors,etc) since 1996.
- Over 550 Hours in premier national and local CPL Firearm/law enforcement academy training.
- Our course and instructors are certified and approved for the new Michigan Law P. A. 381 for all Michigan counties.
- 72 hour notice is required to reschedule at no charge. Due to the nature of the classes there are no refunds for the classes. All classes subject to change depending on class size and certain restrictions. Click on the classes link above to view a list of our current offerings. We Guarantee our certificate and training class will be accepted by all 83 counties.

- Wolf ammo or Black/Pyrodex Powder
- Incendiary and Steel core/includes Military surplus ammo
- Aluminum case ammo(ie Blazer Ammo, etc. )
- Shotgun shooters must be limited to slugs only.
